Any opposition member condemning Bobi Wine is not a complete opposition player – Cecilia Ogwal

Hon Cecilia Ogwal, the Dokolo Woman Legialator, has urged fellow opposition players to stop downgrading Bobi Wine, although he’s a youth and young in politics.

Ogwal says any member of the opposition condemning Bobi Wine is just two sided, he or she is not a complete opposition.

She adds that Robert Kyagulanyi stage name Bobi Wine, the Kyadondo East legislator is still trying to find his bearing. So, he should not be criticised because he’s trying to correct the messed up leadership of this country Uganda.

“What matters is that Bobi Wine is a member of the opposition, he is fighting for better leadership in this country,” Ogwal stated.

Away from Bobi Wine, Cecilia Ogwal backed the recent increment of MPs allowances, arguing that it’s fair because of the increasing demands legislators have as leaders.

She also said that the Permanent Secretary (PS) earns approximately 15m monthly while legislators earn a monthly pay of 11m. So, according to her increasing MPs allowances should not call for an alarm.

“An MP has to make contribution to a vehicle, while a permanent secretary has a free vehicle, driver and maintenance. But the public doesn’t complain about the pay of permanent secretaries,” Hon Ogwal said.

Additionally, Cecilia Ogwal said she has no issues with president Museveni as a person but rather his dictatorship.

“He is military and I take the democratic approach,”
