POLITICS: Bobi Wine attacks Museveni again, calls him a Liar

Its smiles on Ugandans Youths Faces after musician cum politician Robert Kyagulanyi aka Bobi wine confirmed during an interview with CNN that he will run for president of Uganda in 2021 against Yoweri Kaguta Museveni the current president.

Kyadondo East Member of Parliament Robert Kyagulanyi Sentamu (Bobi Wine) has expressed in the most direct sense yet, his ambition to challenge President Yoweri Museveni in the 2021 Presidential elections.

The 36 year old revealed that he is “seriously considering” running for the highest office, during an interview with CNN’s Robyn Curnow.

Bobi wine is currently in the Unites States meeting with Ugandans in the diaspora which came after his music tour in Jamaica where he performed at Rebel Salute and also visited several TV and radio stations for interviews.

“We want to have many Ugandans registered as voters, and overwhelming Museveni looks like our only way out,” he said.

“Many people have come to me calling for me to stand; we have been discussing this issue with my team, and I must say, me and my team are seriously considering challenging Museveni in the next presidential election.

It has not been clear ever since he was arrested during the Arua Municipality elections whether the singer will contest for presidency against President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni who has ruled Uganda for 33 years now.

During his trip abroad, Bobi Wine met with the Jamaican leader Andrew Michael Holness, the head of the leader of the Civil Rights Movement in the United States, Rev Jesse Jackson Sr and US Congressman Brad Sherman and it is assumed that these are willing to fund and support his campaigns.
