It seems that fast rising rapper Fik Fameica is not stopping very soon like many expected but just climbing as more steps as possible every single day. A few hours after winning artist of the year accolade at Zzina Awards, Fameica was again shinning on stage and in studio with south African top rapper Casper Nyovest who performed at Garden city rooftop during the MTN full moon party. When he invited Fameica to perform with him on stage, Nyovest said that Fik Fameica is the dopiest sh*t Uganda has ever had.
Several artists like Bebe cool, Navio, Beenie Gunter performed at MTN Pulse’s Full moon party organized by Talent Africa.
Caper Nyovest is not the first African star to praise and hit studio with the Mafia singer but Wizkid of the ‘daddy yo’ hit song also talked about Fik Fameica as a very talented singer and begged for a collabo from Fameica live on camera although up to now they haven’t released any song together. Singer Mr Eazy of the ‘Alkaeda’ song who was in Kampala recently also praised the Kutama singer as an extra ordinary rapper and joined him in studio to do Mafia remix.
Fik Fameika is probably one of the most selling Ugandan singer locally and the fastest growing singer in the music industry in Uganda. In a period of one year, Fik Fameika has managed to dominate charts and countdowns on all radio and TV stations with his songs like Byenyenya, Mbega wa bala, Mafia, Kutama, Property, Gwe Abisobola, Movie among others which have landed him several nominations and at least won four major accolades in a period of 15 days. He managed to win two accolades in Hipipo music awards at Serena Hotel and was on Thursday 29th March awarded Artist of the Year Accolade and Best break through artist at Zzina awards at Sky Beach, Freedom City.
Nyovest posted on his twitter account confirming that he was in studio with Fik Fameika recording a song together.
