NBS TV has confirmed the arrest of news anchor Solomon Sserwanja’s wife alongside two other employees/journalists, a camera man and a driver over allegations that they were carrying out an investigation about the current issues in Uganda.
NBS team have confirmed the rumors that Sserwanja is on the run after efforts to last him last night were unsuccessful but instead arrested his wife and she is still detained at Kampala Central Police station waiting to secure her release.
“Developing: Uganda Police are continuing their search for NBS TV’s senior investigative reporter and anchor Solomon Sserwanja, hours after his wife was arrested alongside two BBC journalists, a camera man and a driver.
The wife was up at the couple’s home this morning. Sserwanja was working on a joint investigative report with the team from the BBC, a media partner with NBS. Those arrested remain at the Kampala Central Police station while efforts to secure their release continue. #NBSUpdates

Up to now, No one has revealed where Sserwanja Solomon is still hiding and the police has confirmed the news.
