Why You Must Attend The 6th HiPipo Music Awards; Besides being one the most successful music platforms for Ugandan music providing the latest Music audios and Videos by all Ugandan artistes and other singers’ allover Africa, HiPipo has managed to successfully hold a successful awards event for the past six years.
Which started as a music website, HiPipo later on became the most successful, respected, recognised and prestigious music awards in Uganda where music fans nominate and vote for their artistes and favourite songs that were released in the current and previous years.
HiPipo has awarded almost all successful artistes in the industry including Bebe cool, David Lutalo, Sheebah Karungi, Winnie Nwagi, Ziza Bafana, Radio and Weasle, HE: Bobi wine also the current member of parliament for Kyadondo East constituency. Other singers include Diamond Platinumz, Navy Kenzo who was also one of the guest performers during the 5th HiPipo music awards, Rwanda’s dynamic duo Charly Na Nina of the Owooma hit song also mesmerized fans last year at Serena Hotel.
According to Innocent Kawooya, the Co Founder and Chief Executive Officer of HiPipo and HiPipo music awards, this year they will recognize and appreciate fallen music star who recently passed away at Case Clinic Moses Nakitije Ssekibogo aka Mowzey Radio.
Radio is a ten times HiPipo music award winner with many accolades attached to his name for example best Song writer of the year, best song, best music duo and best collabo among others.
Hipipo Music Awards will be held on Saturday 17th March 2018 at Kampala based Serena Hotel at 100,000 VIP tickets, 200,000 VVIP tickets and according to the organizers, several artistes will receive awards and many performances from surprise talented musicians both from Uganda and abroad.
