Mayinja tells Ugandans that Museveni is the answer to Uganda’s problems, is the only man who can lead us to prosperity, noting that NUP is for hooligans.
Musician Ronald Mayinja has advised Ugandans to vote for President Museveni in the coming 2021 elections insisting that he is the right person to lead the country to prosperity.
Mayinja’s remarks come at a time when a section of Ugandans on social media have already described the musician as a political prostitute following his consistent switch between political parties.
Not long ago, the musician announced that he had dumped the NRM party in favour of siding with Bobi Wine’s NUP.
Members from the NUP party who then granted him a warm welcome to their party headquarters in Kamwokya also accorded him a party card confirming him as their full member.
On the same day, Mayinja also vowed not to support the NRM party again. However, on Thursday the shameless musician released a campaign song for Museveni expressing his strong love for him and what he has done for the country over the years.
This has since not gone well with a section of opposition supporters who have regarded the musician as a prostitute who is only after the money and not political change.
However, while responding to the critics, Mayinja who rushed to his social media platform said that everyone has untold stories of pain and sadness that make them love and live differently to others.
He said that Museveni has done a lot of good things for the country and as a result, he is determined to vote him as president until at least 2040.
“Everyone has untold stories of pain and sadness that make them love and live a little differently than you do. Stop judging, instead try to understand,” part of Mayinja’s statement read.
“I’m for Museveni in 2021. He has done alot of good things for our nation. I will vote for him untill 2040. He’s got the vision for this country.”
Mayinja also said that NUP is a party for hooligans and ganja people who have limited knowledge about politics. He said that they just make noise and kill innocent citizens.
The musician further cited that NUP as a party does not deserve any leadership positions in the country because they are more dangerous than the ruling party, NRM.
“Museveni is the only man who can lead Uganda to prosperity and transform the lives of the citizens, not these hooligans and ganja people who have no knowledge about leadership. NUP just makes noise and killing innocent people. They are actually very dangerous than Museveni.”
“They don’t deserve any leadership position in Uganda. They are very confused and tough so murderous to manage the affairs of this country. They are very harsh and intolerant. Don’t vote for them bambi. We need our country under good people. Museveni is the answer to Uganda’s problems,” he added.
