Omulangira Ndausi is a presenter on 97.3 radio Simba, a Kampala based radio station where he hosts the famous morning Binsanga wano show and he doubles as the head of presenters on this same station.
Ndausi is well known for his radio jingles which are characterized by loudness and aggressiveness in his voice tone. He has been a presenter since 1998 on Simba radio but according to him his journey to fame was not an easy one.
Ndausi also owns a media training school that mentors young journalists who would wish to make it to the top like how he did.
Omulangira is among the celebrated radio personalities Uganda has ever had and his loud voice still stands out which acts as his identity. Ndausi is also an MC on events.
Early life and education
Omulangira Ndausi birth name Simon Peter Ndawula born to the family of the late Edward Kitayimbwa Bakulumpangi and Immaculate Nakiwala Kitayimbwa who come from Kkooki.
Ndawula is the ninth of the 24 children and he is the brother to the Kamuswaga of Kkooki. Ndausi was born on April 15, 1974, and according to Ndausi growing up in Entebbe was like an adventure.
His father was very strict and he remembers him of being the UPC chairman for the Rakai district and his mum was a businesswoman.
Omulangira remembers the last words from his father as very encouraging and he told him never to join politics which he has done his entire life but his mother is the dearest and her courage and hardworking spirit inspired him.
Omulangira Ndausi attended Buloba and Nkumba primary school, and then he joined Namilyango College and finally did diplomas in clearing and forwarding and computer science at Kampala College of science.
He adds that as a child they never had a television at home so they used to go watch it from neighbour’s homes. He was in boarding schools from P.1. To P.6 .and for secondary, he joined Namilyango College where he was Mr NGO a title given to the best dancer in school.
It’s in this school where he meant Shanks Vivie D who letter impelled him into radio.

Radio career
After high school, Omulangira Ndausis parents got financial difficulties and he could not join the university and at the time his friend Shanks Vivie D was a presenter at Capital FM.
So he talked to the programmer’s director of the station known as Hubb Gales who invited Ndausi for an interview and voice check but the interview was unsuccessful. And he remembers Gale telling him not to ever ask for any radio job anywhere in his entire life because he was too fake.
In 1995 CBS had started and it had recruited Peter Sematimba to be the programs director so he recruited him to be in the marketing department and he remembers going to the reception and cracking jokes but despite his talkativeness, his bosses thought he wasn’t fit for the job.
Ndausi became more aggressive and refused to give up because deep in his heart he knew he would become one of the best radio presenters in the country.
One time Ndausi meant his friend who invited him for a job interview at Simba FM which was successful and worked there for six months after that he joined the Semat productions of Peter Sematimba.
He once worked at the voice of Tooro in Fort Portal and he rejoined CBS again and then Africa FM which was later renamed Simba FM.
Up to now he still hosts a morning show known as Binsanga wano and he once worked with Charles James Ssenkubuge and this duo is still taken to be the best of all time when it comes to the morning show.
At Simba, Ndausi is into productions, promotions, and the head of presenters and at the same time sits on the creative team of the station. He is the voice behind most of the radio jingles in Uganda.
Omulangira Ndausi is an emcee, the chairman of the Gagamel family, he does radio adverts and he has a studio under Ndausi communications called Pizzo records and a school that trains people in radio and TV programming and he is also a music promoter and events promoter.
Ndausi has assisted many artists to rise to fame including; Bebe Cool, Jose Chameleon, Iryn Namubiru and Nince Henry among the notable ones. Ndausi as emcee charges between 1.5 million for big artists and 500,000-1, 000000 for smaller shows.
Relationship
Omulangira Ndausi was engaged to Faridah Ndausi but they later divorced. Ndausi has six children of which two are boys and four boys.

His Controversy
Omulangira Ndausi is among the booze generals that the music industry has and once he crashed his new vehicle and he ended up breaking his arm.
Reports started making rounds that by the time he crashed he was drunk which Ndausi denied.
When he separated from his ex-wife Faridah Ndausi, he accused her of being a prostitute and Ndausi added that Faridah was bewitching him to love her.
Ndausi describes this relationship as the worship relationship he has ever been in and the worst decision he has ever made.
