You can earn free internet data, SMS, and voice packages from MTN and Airtel, Uganda’s two largest telecommunications companies. Here’s how.
Some of the procedures are well-known and well-publicized campaigns, while others are tricks we discovered while attempting to gain free bundles from all accessible services of MTN and Airtel.
MyAirtel App Refer and Earn Program
The MyAirtel app is a one-stop shop for all Airtel services, including purchasing data, voice and SMS bundles, bill payments, and combinations.

Airtel Uganda’s free monthly 20MBs has gone a long way, and it’s nearly the only promotion from the Airtel team that hasn’t been altered since its inception.
Airtel subscribers receive free 20MB of data at the beginning of each month; all they have to do is press *175*9# and choose Free 20MB to take advantage of the offer.
Install the MyMTN App
MyMTN App is a self-care application that allows users to self-serve and interact with MTN customer support online.
All smartphone users can access the app. Free downloads are available through the Apple App Store for iPhones and the Google Play Store for Android devices.
When you initially download the app and connect it with your MTN number, you will receive 200MB of free data to access the internet.
MTN Senkyu Loyalty Program in Uganda
MTN Senkyu is the company’s customer loyalty programme. The Senkyu programme has recently become a household name, thanks to MTN’s marketing efforts to educate users on how to earn and use loyalty programme points.
Customers receive points when they initially join MTN Senkyu. Birthdays and MTN anniversaries come with additional bonus points.
The vast majority of points are gained when an MTN user utilises MTN services, such as purchasing airtime and internet bundles, making phone calls, and utilising the internet.
To join the MTN Senkyu loyalty programme, dial *141# or use the MyMTN app.
To redeem the points, open the MyMTN app and move to the side menu to the MTN Senkyu page. The app’s brilliance is that it displays how many SMS or voice bundles you can acquire with your existing points.
