  • Earn a net monthly salary of UGX1,500,000 to UGX3,999,999
  • Forex mark-up of 4% on international transactions
  • Cash cover (fixed deposit) of minimum UGX3,000,000
  • A 5% monthly minimum repayment is required.
  • 3.5% interest is charged on the billed account
  • Cash access fee via ATMs of 6% min. UGX10,000
  • An over-limit fee of 6%
  • 10% minimum late payment penalty, up to UGX10,000.

Requirements to get an Absa ATM card

Are you planning to apply for an ABSA ATM card? If so, this is what you’ll be required to bring to an Absa bank branch near you.

  • Identification document (passport/national ID/driver’s license)
  • The latest proof of income (payslips)
  • Financial card copy

You could also visit the Absa Bank official website and apply for an ATM card online.

  • Once you visit the page, you’ll come across a form that you must fill out.
  • It includes a section where you select the type of credit card you want ie the platinum credit card or classic credit card.
  • You’ll also be required to provide your phone number and email address.
  • Next, you select if you’re an existing or old customer plus a security question that must be answered.
  • After this is complete, you submit the form and wait to see if your request has been confirmed. Please note that you may not get an immediate answer so it may prompt you to go to an Absa bank office near you.

How long does it take for you to get your Absa ATM card?

The processing of a new card can take up to seven days.
