She is currently the Company Secretary at the Uganda Electricity Distribution Company Limited (UEDCL), where she is part of the management team overseeing the country’s power distribution.

As Company Secretary, she has become a central figure in helping UEDCL blend legal expertise with the practical demands of expanding Uganda’s energy network, especially where public–private partnerships are involved. Much of her work revolves around guiding the Board on regulatory and statutory matters, keeping communication smooth between management and the Board, and ensuring that all legal and corporate records are properly maintained.

Over the years, she has quietly shaped many of the processes that kept the organisation on solid legal ground most especially during the long and complex period leading up to the government’s takeover of the distribution network from Umeme in 2025.

She assumed the office of Company Secretary in 2019, a role she has carried with professionalism and a steady hand ever since.
