Remembering Kobe Bryant: Singer Angella Katatumba brutally criticised for the latest tribute post

Singer Angella Katatumba criticized by social media followers over her most recent post in an attempt to pay tribute to the United States Basketball legend Kobe Bean Bryant.

Many people from all walks of life have been so hard hit by the death of US Basketball star Kobe Bean Bryant, including Singer and philanthropist Angella Katatumba, who also joined the rest of the world to mourn the fallen.

On Sunday morning, Kobe Bryant died when the helicopter he was riding in killed nine people on board, including his teenage daughter Gianna Bryant, leaving the sports brotherhood and the rest of the world in grief.

Angella, however, faced criticism for personalizing the whole situation. She took out her social media platforms after getting news of Bryant’s death to share her sorrow and pay tribute to the NBA star.

Angella Katatumba went ahead in her tribute to reveal how she began to love the former Los Angeles Lakers star who retired in 2016 when her father-in-law tipped her off that her ex-boyfriend was like Kobe Bryant.

“Oh noooo Kobe (emoji) I automatically liked you when I lived in Chicago, because everyone, especially my father in law, said you looked like my Ex husband Alonzo. May you rest in perfect peace. Thank you for your amazing talent, ”Angella Katatumba posted on social media.

Seemingly that wasn’t enough, a one Ian Martin Hemsworth also stated, “someone gives me a dustbin from chicken tonight.….?????”

Kobe Bean Bryant was an American professional basketball player and a shooting guard who played his entire 20-session career in the National Basketball Association (NBA) with Los Angeles Lakers.

Bryant joined the NBA directly from high school and won five NBA championships.

He was an 18-time All-Star, 15-time member of the All-Defensive Team, and the 2008 NBA Most Valuable Player (MVP). Bryant was widely regarded as one of the greatest basketball players of all time because he led the NBA in scoring during two seasons.

He ranks fourth on the league’s all-time regular-season scoring, ranks fourth on the all-time postseason scoring list and he was the first guard in NBA history to play at least 20 seasons.

Kobe Bryant net worth was estimated at $350 million in 2016 according to Forbes.
