I will not work on other people’s commands and so am not showing-off my receipts as MC Kapale asked me to do – Eddy Kenzo
Eddy Kenzo bans MC Kapale – During a local TV interview, Ugandan comedian Simon Kawuki stage name MC Kapale asked Eddy Kenzo to present the receipts that he used to pay for the Kololo airstrip and even that of his brand-new Toyota 450 M Land Cruiser V8 2018 model.
Speaking to Spark TV, the Tweyagale singer vowed not to show off his receipts as MC Kapale guided him to do so suggesting that he is not operating on the commands of people.
“I will neither show-off Kololo airstrip receipts nor my car logbook to the public as MC Kapale commanded me, “confirmed Eddy Kenzo in an interview.

According to the comedian, this will prove innocent to the singer that he has received all these material assistance from President Museveni, as other artists have done before.
“Eddy Kenzo ate President Museveni’s money though he’s lying to the public. He’s proving to be innocent but let him show us the receipts that he used to pay Kololo airstrip and even those of his brand-new car which is similar to those of government officials, “asked MC Kapale.

MC Kapale added that he was threatening the singer to mobilize people who would boycott the Eddy Kenzo Festival at the Kololo airstrip on 28 March 2020 if he failed to reveal his receipts to the public via the media.
“am mobilizing people to boycott his festival at Kololo airstrip if he doesn’t show us the receipts. It’s very expensive for Ugandan artists to hold concerts in that venue and very few can afford it, so let him prove to us through the media, “advised Simon Kawuki aka MC Kapale.

Hearing that, Edirisa Musuuza asked MC Kapale and all the people he’s mobilizing to boycott his first-ever Eddy Kenzo Festival in the Kololo airstrip not to attend because he’s not interested in them.
“MC Kapale together with those people planning to boycott shouldn’t attend,” said Eddy Kenzo in an interview with Spark TV.

Several Ugandan artists who met with President Museveni and also received material assistance have been rejected by their fans, such as Big Eye, Bebe Cool and others. They were pelted with bottles during their stage performances by rowdy fans who blamed them for being hypocrites.
Different artists denounced the opposition People Power Party under Bobi Wine and joined the ruling NRM Party under President Museveni on account of material wealth.
