Eddy Kenzo gets Shs35M boost ahead of his festival from Tripai Overseas Agency, Samona Company and motorbikes from Yuvraj International
Ahead of his upcoming Eddy Kenzo Festival on 28 March 2020 at Kololo Airstrip, singer Edirisa Musuuza paid a courtesy visit to some of his sponsors, where he received a variety of cheques and bikes as a boost for the event.
On the cheques handed over to him, the Tweyagale hitmaker was given Shs20M from Tripai Overseas Agency and Shs15M from Samona Company.
Also, Eddy went to Yuvraj International, which is a manufacturer of TVS motorcycles in Uganda, where he was given many bikes to be distributed to fans who will be at the festival.
This is Eddy Kenzo’s first prevalent event ever since he celebrated 10 years while appearing on the music scene of Uganda with a mega music show which he held at Serena Hotel in Kampala.
While on a press conference, Eddy Kenzo also notified about having planes on the Festival at Kololo airstrip that will specifically aid revellers in transport and also act as a tourist attraction to all those who will be seeing them for the first time.
The two planes will cater for trips from Kajjansi and other surrounding areas in Kampala transporting fans to the venue.
“We shall have two planes at the Festival. I told you this will be a great day because the planes will transport fans from Kajjansi and other surrounding areas. For those who haven’t boarded planes before, will get their first feel as they fly around the city,” relayed Eddy Kenzo

Eddy Kenzo Festival will be an action-packed event that will practically take care of all parties regardless of age because a section specified for kids with Bouncy Castle, mini zoo and different Kid’s playoffs will be established.
For the adults, there will be a segment reserved for them where a music performance stage will be erected to spice-up the mood of the day.
According to Kenzo, all of Uganda’s talented artists will be making headlines at the festival alongside international music legends that he is to reveal to the event, even though he stated that Harmonize and Diamond Platinumz were part of the show.
From Luba Events, the venue of this kind was chosen because it seemed to be the single place around the city that could hold a great artist like Eddy Kenzo in Uganda.
“After making a great deal of search about a place where to stage Kenzo’s Event, we found out that Kololo airstrip was the only place that could be used. The gates will open at 8 am,” said Moses Lubulwa.
