Florence Nampijja was born in Masaka District current Masaka City, Minyiya village on 27 March 1992 to Elizabeth and the late Father Ganyana Vincent.

Education Background
Nampijja attended St. Athanasius Mengo where she sat for her Primary Leaving Exams. She then joined Blessed Sacrament Kimanya Masaka District where she sat for both O’ and A’ Level.
Growing up, Nampijja wanted to study law and be an advocate of justice to societies but later in her A’ Level, her dream changed and developed a great passion for journalism particularly television presentation.
After that, she enrolled in Crane Media Institute, where in 2014 she earned a diploma in drama, dance, and music.
She attended Makerere University to obtain a bachelor’s degree in economics while she was a Crane student, and she graduated in January 2015.

Career and Professional Work Experience
Florence Nampijja began acting in secondary school in her senior two class. Later, after joining campus she continued her passion while in her first year of study.
Nampijja joined a film acting group named Streamline headed by Mbabali Ibrahim where she worked from 2013-2014 at Royal Theatre every Thursday.
After featuring in various plays at Diamond Assemble owned by Kato Lubwama and Zubair Family joint plays, Ahmed Lubowa who then acted at Zubair Family spotted her and asked Nampijja to join Zubair Family legally because at the time they needed actors.
Nampijja accepted and left Streamline for Zubair Family.
However, after some time Zubair Family split and Nampijja decided to follow Ahmed Lubowa who had started his acting group because he was the one who spotted her, the Aromatic Entertainment where she works today.
Florence Nampijja is a television presenter at BBS Terefayina. She began working at BBS Terefayina in 2016 just after completing her studies at Makerere University and the same year BBS Terefayina launched broadcast.

Controversies

Following the release of the popular television drama Nawolovu, rumors on social media circulated that Diana Nabatanzi had left the production of Aromatic Films due to disagreements regarding a split that had grown between her and her close friend Florence Nampijja.
There were also rumors that Diana and Florence were at odds with their boss, Ahmed Lubowa.
When tabloids began to report that Ahmed Lubowa was seeing these two stunning queens, Diana Nabatanzi became enraged and wanted to leave the production firm. However, Diana denied the reports, claiming that this was simply social media chatter.
