Thanks to Cloudflare, websites and apps are now quicker and more secure for companies, nonprofits, bloggers, and anyone else with an online presence. A free and fast VPN called “WARP” was just released by the company.
What is WARP?

Cloudflare described it as a speedy, light, mobile-only VPN that doesn’t drain your phone’s battery. Cloudflare launched the 1.1.1.1 App, a DNS service that prioritizes privacy. It’s also compatible with Linux, Mac, and Windows on PCs and iOS and Android devices.
The DNS-over-HTTPS(DoH) protocol, which is privacy-focused, is used by Cloudflare’s 1.1.1.1 DNS service. Your DNS requests are scrambled by DoH, making it harder for snoopers to track your online activity, including the government or your Internet service provider. By examining your IP address in your traffic, they could, however, deduce which websites you are accessing.
Your whole traffic will be hidden from your Internet provider and any other third parties while using a full-featured VPN. The company had invited users on a waiting list when it first revealed this function a few months prior. With the 1.1.1.1 App upgrade, the service is now easily accessible.
After updating your 1.1.1.1 App which is downloadable from Android or iOS stores, the company also offers 1GB/month free for users.
You can choose to use the app as a VPN and a private DNS service (1.1.1.1 + WARP) or as both. Your phone’s WARP app activates a VPN profile that you can connect to or disconnect from by going to settings >> network >> Advanced >> VPNs.
You also have the option in the settings to disable the App for a specific App. When you disable apps like YouTube, you might reduce your monthly Data usage. You can safely disable a VPN for these exceptions because some banking apps, won’t function with one enabled.
Is WARP the same as other VPNs?
WARP works a little differently from other VPNs. With WARP, you can’t select the WARP VPN server location. Consequently, WARP cannot be used to access or stream geo-restricted content.
It won’t prevent websites you visit from seeing your IP address. The fix is instead designed to protect your data while it is in transit so that your Internet service provider or any other man-in-the-middle cannot spy on your Internet traffic.
WARP, WARP+, and WARP+ Unlimited

There are no bandwidth caps or other limitations on the basic WARP service. Access to WARP+ Unlimited requires a monthly subscription. If you like, you can purchase WARP+, an even faster version of WARP.
Conclusion
You may benefit from Cloudflare WARP without risk. To protect and safeguard your data, it employs industry-standard protocols. Moreover, Cloudflare has an outstanding reputation in the market for providing dependable and secure internet services.
