Harmonize is a Tanzanian Bongo Flava singer, songwriter and music industry entrepreneur. His birth name is Rajab Abdul Kahali and was born on March 15, 1991.
Harmonize is popularly known for his breakout song “Aiyola‘”. The singer also received acclaim with the title “Kwa Ngwaru” which featured another Tanzanian superstar Diamond Platnumz.
Another signature song of his is “Show Me” which he collaborated with Rich Mavoko.
Harmonize and Diamond Platnumz had a good partnership in establishing WCB Wasafi. He was the first artist to sign a record contract with the label. Back in 2017, he has acclaimed my MTV Base’s African edition as “Ones to Watch for 2017”.
At the moment, Harmonize has established his record label named Konde Music Worldwide. The name of his company is in line with one of his screen aliases Konde Boy. He has also various nicknames under his belt such as Jeshi, Mbunge, Tembo and Konde-Mabeyo
Early life of Rajah Abdul Kahali
Rajab Abdul Kahali known by his screen name Harmonize was born at Mtwara Tanzania on March 15, 1991. He has a humble family consisting of his mother, father, and siblings.
Harmonize and his family are very private people. He has not revealed to the public any information about his siblings.
Harmonize however shared a photo of him and his parents. His mother’s name is a mystery, but fans fondly address her as Mrs Konde. His father on the other hand is recognized as Mzee Konde.
Fans upon seeing the precious photo noted that the singer is a surprising likeness of his parents.
Harmonize grew up in a difficult environment since his family is not affluent. The music star admitted that in his younger years there were instances Harmonize will go to bed hungry. There are some extents he did not have a place to sleep.
However, despite the hardships, he took jobs to afford food. One of the jobs he took was selling tea in the Kariokor market.
Harmonoze’s Educational Background
Despite the poverty, Harmonize managed to pursue his education. In 2009 he was able to complete his primary education in Mkundi Secondary School.
After he finished secondary education, he transferred to Dar-Es-Salaam. It is yet to be confirmed if the artist pursued collegiate studies or not.

Harmonize – Music Career
As early as 2011 Harmonize has already been making music. The initial part of his endeavour was difficult since recognition was scarce. He had to wait for quite a while to achieve a part of the limelight.
In 2015 the tide change for Harmonize. He was able to come up with his first hit “Aiyola”.
The wonderful song brought him acclaim and a lot of fans. Due to this success Harmonize caught the attention of another Tanzanian superstar Diamond Platnumz.
During this period Diamond Platnumz was establishing his record label WCB Wasafi.
The two musicians made a good connection and decided to work together. Harmonize was the first recording artist that was signed under WCB Wasafi. Besides the acceptance of Diamond Platnumz in terms of business, the two also ventured artistically.
The two talented men did a successful musical collaboration titled “Kwa Ngwaru”.
After the hit “Kwa Ngwaru”, Harmonize proceed to do more collaborations with high profile artists under WCB Wasafi. The list of the talented people he worked with included, Mavoko, Rayvanny, and Mbosso.
Due to these efforts East African music continued to dominate the charts in the continent.

Reports say that after recording the song, the two immediately filmed the music video. Despite the time constraints the project turned out well.

Controversies
Harmonize like all celebrities has a life surrounded by gossip and speculations. He also has his share of private matters that have been publicized.
However, despite the negativities that come with the job, he manages to keep his focus and move forward.
Leaving the record label WCB Wasafi
Despite the long and good run of his musical career under WCB Wasafi, Harmonize decided to end ties with the company. After his exit, he set up his record label Konde Music Worldwide. The reason for departure is yet to be confirmed.
However, rumours say that it is due to Harmonize’s dissatisfaction with the management. There was an instance that he together with other Wasafi artists were scheduled to participate in “One Africa Music Fest” in the US.
According to Diamond Platnumz, the reason why Harmonize did not make it was due to Visa issues.
Aside from the mishap in management, it was also speculated that the rift between Diamond and Harmonize was due to the song “Inama”. The song in question was said to have spread the word out that Harmonize fired his former bodyguard named Mwarabu.
The grounds of termination is that Mwarabu was having an affair with Harmonize’s relationship partner Sarah.
Fuel was added to the fire when Harmonize publicly in his Instagram account deleted his affiliation with WCB Wasafi. He also followed one of Diamond Platnumz nemesis Ali Kiba.
After all, was said and done, Harmonize’s relationship with Diamond was never the same. When inquired, the Konde Music Worldwide CEO would state that he is not in speaking terms with Diamond.
All have yet to wait if a reconciliation in the future is possible.
Separation with wife Sarah Michelotti
Harmonize was in a serious relationship with an Italian woman named Sarah Michelotti. The couple tied the knot in September 2019.
However, their marriage was put through the test when it was revealed that Harmonize has a child from another woman. It was not taken lightly by Sarah which led to their split in December 2020.

Harmonize is said to have a net worth of 2 million dollars. He is also recognized as an avid car enthusiast. As of date, he is reported to own a variety of Land Cruisers, trucks, Vans, Convertible Sports Car, and Audi.
