So, to get you started, does your TV have HDMI ARC or you haven’t got a clue what it is?

Because we genuinely care about you, we’re going to tell you what HDMI ARC appreciates good audio sound on a budget. With such a feature, there’s no need to spend your hard-earned money on pricey sound equipment.

How Do You Tell If Your TV Has HDMI ARC?

There are several ways to check for this feature and if your TV supports it, here are the most common;

  • One way is to check and see if there is an ARC-labeled HDMI port. Additionally, check all the ports on the back of your TV or the linked box.
  • Also, most specifications of your TV are in the user manual so you might want to check there too. Do you see “HDMI 2.1 input” or “HDMI ARC” somewhere? If so, you can celebrate that means your TV has it!
  • A function or mode for ARC may be found in the sound settings. If your device has one, you should find it in the settings where you can also turn it on.
  • Online marketplaces like Amazon or the official website of your TV brand frequently have an extensive summary of a TV’s characteristics. To find out if your TV supports HDMI ARC or not, simply enter “the TV model” and “specifications” into a search engine and check for terms like “HDMI 2.1 input” or “HDMI ARC” in the list of features.
