How to Share Screen in WhatsApp Video Call

1: Update WhatsApp:

Before you can use the screen sharing feature, ensure that you have the latest version of WhatsApp installed on your device. 

You can update the app from your device’s app store (Google Play Store for Android and App Store for iOS).

2: Start a Video Call:

Launch WhatsApp and open the chat with the person you want to video call. Tap the video call icon at the top right corner of the chat window to initiate a video call.

3: Connect to the Video Call:

Wait for the person you’re calling to accept the video call. Once the call is connected, you will see their video feed on your screen.

4: Activate Screen Sharing:

To start sharing your screen, locate the screen sharing option on your screen. 

This button is typically found on the call interface, and it may look like a small square with an arrow or “screen share.” Tap this button to activate screen sharing.

5: Grant Permissions:

WhatsApp will request permission to access your device’s screen. You’ll need to grant these permissions to proceed. 

This step may vary slightly depending on your device’s operating system.

For Android: You’ll be prompted to allow WhatsApp to capture everything that’s displayed on your screen. Tap “Start Now” to begin screen sharing.

For iOS: WhatsApp will ask you to enable screen recording in your device settings. Follow the on-screen instructions to enable it, then return to WhatsApp to start screen sharing.

6: Share Your Screen:

Once permissions are granted, your screen will be shared in real-time with the person on the other end of the call. 

You can now navigate through your device’s interface, show apps, photos, or any content you want to share.

7: End Screen Sharing:

To stop sharing your screen, tap the “Stop Sharing” button, usually located on the call interface. Your video call will continue, but the screen sharing will be disabled.
