Controversies

Especially on Twitter, Mordecai Muriisa is one of the most passionate public figures on the internet. He shares his thoughts and ideas about a wide range of subjects, including politics.

He has been the victim of internet harassment as a result of this.

Muriisa began sharing his thoughts regarding Major Muhoozi Kainerugaba’s existential threat to the nation.

Some fellows who he assumes are Muhoozi’s supporters started harassing him on the internet and calling him gay. They claimed the gay community supported him and his reasoning was related to homosexuality.

He thought the accusations might have been taken seriously by those who didn’t know him personally.

Muriisa asserted that homosexuality is not a concern. Only if he were one and was making an effort to deny it, it would seriously damage people’s perceptions, particularly of gays and those who identify as gay.

Rt. Hon. Speaker Anita Among was characterized by Mordecai Muriisa in October 2022 as a nasty, cruel, and dangerous woman.

He made this statement while discussing his opinions on the 24-year-old man’s arrest for allegedly discussing the colour of her skin.

Mordecai claimed that this was merely impunity because it wasn’t necessary. He believes that the Speaker ought to be overburdened with work in the August house, but it is concerning for the country if she can heed online propaganda.
