MTN Uganda introduces new self-help code – *177# to address all customer problems
MTN Uganda has launched a new and convenient self-help code that will help all customers and line users to address problems remotely on their own without having to call or visit a service centre.
Of recent many businesses, customers have been accessing MTN Business solutions through service centres thus this is a concerted effort to empower customers to take care of their needs and to save time spent walking to service centres, as they will now take the business into their own hands.
While addressing at the launch of the new initiative, Ibrahim Senyonga, the General Manager MTN Business explained that the innovation was aimed at ensuring that customers are not always bothered by the need to visit particular service centres to have their problems worked on.

According to Senyonga, the initiative will help customers to address their most pressing problems on their own by a mere click on a phone while at their homes, offices or wherever they are.
“With this innovation, our customers will have less business being in a service centre as we open up the ability for them to address their needs remotely on their own,”

Besides, Senyonga praised the initiative arguing that it will even be more time saving and convenient because it will empower customers to take care of their needs.
The new self-help code, demands users to simply dial *177# to join and thereafter be in a position to easily access all MTN Business offers among others including purchasing bundles such as Business Combo bundles, Unlimited Internet bundles and Fixed-line bundles.
Founded in 1998, MTN is the largest telecom company in Uganda, with up to 11.2 million subscribers, accounting for 55 per cent market share according to a report dated 30 June 2017.
