It’s undeniable that certain women have been making significant fortunes around the world. The list of female billionaires just keeps on growing. Recently, Forbes released a list of the 2,640 billionaires on its “Richest People in the World” list.

Only 337 women made the list of these high-net-worth individuals, which includes those who share their money with a husband, sibling, or kid.

Here are the top 10 wealthiest women in the world and their net worth as of April 28, 2023, as listed by Forbes’ Real-Time Billionaires List.

Francoise Bettencourt is the richest woman on the planet, with an estimated net worth of $94.9 billion. 33% of the stock in L’Oreal, which has experienced extraordinary development in recent years, is owned by her family.

She has served on the company’s board since 1997 and is currently the chair of this cosmetics company. On the list of the world’s wealthiest people, Bettencourt Meyers is ranked ninth.

Alice Walton, the sole child of Sam Walton, the founder of Walmart, is listed as the second richest woman in the world. She has a $61.3 billion net worth.

She owns a personal art collection that is worth hundreds of millions of dollars and is more interested in curating art. She is this year’s 20th billionaire, according to Forbes.
