The Savannah Resort Hotel is around 8 kilometres from Ishasha sector, 43 kilometres from Bwindi Impenetrable Forest national park, and 3 kilometres from the Uganda-DRC border. 

Therefore, it is accessible by the road that connects Queen Elizabeth National Park to Bwindi via the Ishasha sector. Queen Elizabeth National Park is roughly 5-6 hours (370 kilometres) by vehicle from the city of Kampala.

The hotel is in close proximity to the Kihihi airfield, where travellers arriving by plane land. The flight from Entebbe international airport or Kajjansi to Kihihi airfield and then to the lodge takes around 45 minutes.
