Early life and Education
Stella Isodo Apolot also known as Ejulano was born in Ngora District, in the Eastern Region of Uganda.
She is the wife of Samuel Isodo, a lawyer and the couple together have three children namely; Apio Joanne, Isodo Arnold, and Okiror Allan Bill.
Career and Professional Work Experience

Stella Isodo Apolot as a member of the Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) party contested as the Woman representative for Ngora District on the party ticket in the 2016 and 2021 general elections.
In 2016, she was defeated by Jacqueline Amongin for the Woman MP position.
In August 2020, she got 99 votes defeating her opponent, Sarah Eperu who got 27 votes in the FDC party primaries and she was named the party’s flagbearer.
In the 2021 General elections, she competed against Amongin Jacquiline, Namusana Faith, and Angenyo Annet for the Woman MP position and she won the election with 20,272 votes.
Achievements and Awards
In September 2022, Hon. Stella Isodo Apolot established one hundred fifty-five (155) village savings groups under the Apolot Stella Isodo Foundation (ASIF) across the district through a fundraising drive.
During celebrations of her 100 days in the office, she obtained the following: She provided 20 oxygen cylinders and 10 oxygen concentrators for Ngora HC IV and Freda Carr Hospital.
She provided 14 delivery mattresses covered in Macintosh (Ngora Maternity). She purchased 200 chairs for Ngora HC IV and Ngora Maternity Ward.
She provided 75 bursaries with ARU University. She ensured that Ngora receives hoes for the first time during the day and by LC1s.
All villages and churches received 4 tonnes of maize seed.
She arranged for 1,400 chairs to be used for social functions, funerals, and gatherings. She purchased six tents (100 seats).
She provided a contemporary ambulance (Nissan) to her constituents in a bid to improve health service in the district.
She provided a water tank/booster of 5,000-litre capacity.
She repaired over ten boreholes.
Controversies

During the 2016 elections, Hon. Stella Isodo Apolot, who got 19,755 votes, sued Hon. Amongin, those who had received 24,599 votes and the Electoral Commission alleged bribery and non-compliance with the electoral laws and sought nullification of the election.
Stella Apolot presented her husband, Samuel Isodo, as her lawyer, assisted by Philip Engulu and David Obore, whereas Amongin presented David Telisweke Mayinja as her legal counsel, along with her husband, Achilles Lubega.
The case became contradictory when Isodo and Lubega began trading accusations in court, each asking the other to withdraw from
After calming down, Justice Kainamura resumed hearing the election petition. Apolot claimed in his petition that Amongin’s election violated electoral laws. She also accused her of intimidating her supporters with state machinery.
Soroti High Court however dismissed the petition with costs claiming that the petitioner had not shown how the claimed errors and noncompliance had substantially affected the outcomes.
