It’s 22 January that will forever remain etched in the minds of the family and the fans of the fallen singer Mowzey Radio. That was the day his alleged attacker hit him and left him dead before he moved to Nsambya Hospital and was later transferred to Case Hospital.

Pamela Musiimire, the lady said she witnessed an altercation at De Bar, narrated what happened the day after Mowzey Radio’s attack.

A lot of people on social media began to spread rumours that Pamela Musiimire was a girlfriend of Mowzey Radio, but she quashed them during the narration. Pamela revealed that she had just been recruited as a security staff member at De Bar, although she was a great friend of the late singer.

“I knew Mowzey for quite a long time ever since I helped him settle some saga he had run into while in Entebbe. From then he refers to me as his sister even though you check his phone contacts, my name is saved as Sister Entebbe, “Pamela Musiimire opened-up.

Pamela further added,

“Radio came to the bar after inspecting a house he was constructing at Akright Estate in Bwebajja on Entebbe Road. Producer Washington accompanied him plus Frank. Muwonge and Egesa later joined us and everyone was having fun.”

Musiimire went on to say that Egesa (manager) had ordered the waitress to get a bottle of Jonny Walker Black Label whisky for Mowzey Radio, which at the time was a bit wild.

“But Radio splashed the whisky around of which this annoyed Egesa and in return pushed away from the table with the drinks before he stood up in rage. Thereafter Producer Washington rose-up and grabbed Egesa thinking they were going to fight.”

She said,

“I held Radio to lead him out of the bar but as we were getting out, an unknown man in a white T-shirt with blue pair of shorts came from nowhere and lifted Mowzey and threw him to the ground.”

Mowzey was rushed to Emmanuel Hospital in Katabi on Entebbe Road which referred him to Nsambya hospital and later to Case Hospital where he died from.

Rest In Perfect Peace Mowzey Radio.
