MoKash – MyMTN App

To enable its users to save and borrow money using their mobile phones while receiving interest on the money saved, MTN Uganda introduced MoKash. MoKash lets you save money and borrow.

Also, with MoKash, your saved money is handled differently than the money in your Mobile Money account. The funds in your MoKash savings account are not included in your Mobile Money account balance.

Customers can now use MTN Mobile Money to save money and take out short-term loans without having to deal with the usual loan processing red tape. On their mobile phone, everything is completed in a matter of minutes. To access MoKash, you must be a registered MTN Mobile Money user.

You use money in your MTN Mobile Money account to repay the loans you get. Your Mokash savings account receives any further loan payments. Customers are given their requested loan amount in full. The loan must be repaid within one month. Dial *165# to access MoKash.

Platinum Credit (Mobi Loan)

Platinum Credit offers quick loan processing and 24-hour cash delivery with minimal steps. Its offerings include Civil Servant Loans, Logbook Finance Loans, Private Sector Loans, and the most recent SME Loans.

Through the USSD platform connected to Mobile Money, it started an electronic loan application process with the code *249#. This will guarantee that our clients receive the funds within 60 seconds to cover any urgent demands.

Numida

To offer unsecured working capital loans to informal African microbusinesses, Numida employs unique credit models and tech-enabled underwriting workflows. Business owners download their Android app, quickly apply for a loan, and receive approval the following day. 

Zofi Cash

The goal of the online financial platform Zofi Cash is to revolutionize how and when salaried workers are paid. Waiting for payment for 30 days is just too long. For the hard-working Africans on the African continent, they want to make every day feel like a payday. Loan amounts are equal to your take-home pay. If you are employed, that is.

The Zoficash app is available for both iOS and Android, and it may be downloaded to begin the loan application process.

Wewole – My Airtel App

Get a loan and repay it within the agreed-upon period or duration with the Wewole service, a microcredit offering from Airtel Uganda that makes use of its Airtel Money platform.

It enables agents and Airtel Money customers to take advantage of loan conveniences through Airtel Money. No documentation or collateral is required. Your Airtel Money account receives the borrowed funds right away.

To apply for these loans you must be registered with Airtel Money and have completed at least six transactions with Airtel Money. To access Wewole, they must dial *185*8#. The service is aimed at regular Airtel customers. Depending on how much you’re requesting, different costs apply.

Because of the length of its payback period, it stands out. In contrast to MTN’s Mokash, which strictly has a one-month repayment period, it permits you to pay them back up after two months. And as long as you are making payments, you are free to pay back in any number of instalments.

Equity Eazzy app

With the Equity Bank Eazzy Banking app, you can send money, pay for goods and services, access Eazzy Loans, check the status of your bank account, save money, and many other things.

  • You log on to the Eazzy Banking app 
  • Select loans 
  • Select Eazzy loan limit
  • Enter the amount

Easy Mobile, EFC Uganda

Through Easy Mobile Loan Repayment, EFC loan customers can easily use their mobile phones to make on-time instalment payments on their loans. 

This service, which utilizes Mobile Money, is accessible on the MTN and Airtel money networks.

Mangu Cash Instant Loan

This is a secure credit loan app in Uganda where you can borrow cash. All you have to do is;

  • Install Mangucash App from either Google Play Store or Apple store
  • Register through your Phone Number
  •  Lon into the app.
  • Request money and have it sent to your e-wallet
  • Repay your loan with Airtel or MTN phone number you sign up with, and the loan amount you applied.

SC Mobile Uganda

The Standard Chartered Mobile app combines an easy-to-use design with robust capabilities, giving you a straightforward method of managing your cash.

Upon downloading and registering for SC mobile, you can view your account details and request loans. The loan can also be repaid on the go either partially or the full amount.

It’s one of the easiest mobile money lending apps in Uganda that you can use.

Cente Mobile App

The Centemobile mobile banking platform from Centenary Bank enables you to conduct transactions and access banking services using your mobile phone or device wherever there is network connectivity. A quick loan can be obtained at your convenience.

To begin borrowing, you must have an account with Centenary Bank, be registered on the CenteMobile banking platform, have a PIN, a working mobile phone, A balance on your account, and good network connectivity.
