Francis Senteza Kalibala commonly known as Frank was reportedly run over by a military car as Bobi Wine’s convoy drove Ghetto TV journalist Ashraf Kasirye from Masaka to Kampala for further medical attention after he was injured as police dispersed NUP supporters in Masaka.

In a speech, Kyagulanyi who could not hold back his disappointed rushed to denounce the brutality. He said Francis was run over by a military police patrol truck Number H4DF 2382 which left him injured and he died moments after reaching Rubaga hospital.

“I regret to announce the death of our security team member Mr Francis Senteza Kalibala also known as Frank. Meanwhile, this is not the first time the police and military have aimed at Bobi Wine’s close associates. Similar incidents have happened including in 2018 when they shot dead his driver Yasin Kawuma in the Arua by-elections.

During the ongoing campaigns, notable incidents have also been recorded of the police teargassing and paper spraying at those part of Kyagulanyi’s campaign team including journalists.
