He attended Shikhuyu Primary School in 1982, then Bulucheke Secondary School where he attained his O’ Level Certificate in 1986. In 1989, Nambeshe attained his A’ Level Certificate from Nabumali High School..
In 2011, he got a diploma in local government and human rights from Uganda Martyrs University. In 2014, Nambeshe attained a Bachelor’s Degree in Arts from Uganda Martyrs University still.
Work and Experience
John Baptist Nambeshe served as LC5 chairperson in 2011.
1993-1999, Nambeshe worked as a laboratory technician for Jinja College, then as a teacher at Bududa Secondary School from 1989-1990.
Nambeshe is a professional social worker and a Member of Parliament for Mangiya County in Bududa District.

John Baptist Nambeshe is a former National Resistance Movement (NRM) who serves as the Acting President for National Unity Platform (NUP) for three weeks after NUP’s president Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu aka Bobi Wine travelled to America for official duties.
Nambeshe joined NUP in 2020 ahead of the 2021 general election, an opposition political party created in the same year by Bobi Wine.
