Maro aka RNB Kyabazinga is a Ugandan songwriter, musician and producer who is known for his songs such as mubbi bubbi ft David Lutalo, raising star, kyokoba, anjagala and many more songs.
Maro is the founder and CEO of a group called Vocal Police which housed musicians such as Empress at one time, but before he was once a member of a music group called Westend Entertainment of Aziz Azion.
In 2013 he released a song called omuweesi and because of the milestone, it gave him he went ahead and carried out his first concert at freedom city rooftop.
Throughout his career, Maro has released a lot of albums such as Sulabulungi, Genda Ewamwe, Kyokoba and many more songs.
Early life and education
Maro birth name Ronald Magada was born on May 7th 1987 in Buwolero Jinja Uganda to Mr James Magada and Janet Babuleka (the late). His father serves in the Uganda police force.
Maro is the firstborn of 13 children. He attended Nsambya Barracks school, st. peter Nsambya, Bupadengo primary school in Kamuli District.
After his primary, he joined Light College Mukono, Bulopa High school where he sat for his UACE. In 2015 he graduated from Makerere University with a bachelor’s degree in development studies.
Music career
Maro joined the music industry in 2010 with his breakthrough song called Toneeraga ft Mickie Wine of Firebase crew. In 2011 he joined Westend entertainment of Aziz Azion and it’s during this time that he released his first single ”Sulabulungi” meaning Goodnight.
This song won him the women crowd followed by his Lusoga hit Biweewo, in which he tells the partner to pray to get through hardships in life to pave way for their relationship.
This is believed to be the first sweetest zouk, Lusoga feeling of the time.
In 2012 January, he left Westend entertainment and released his hit collaboration Baibe ft Mya of former Blu3 the first-ever and none forgettable women’s singing crew. This is the song that made him more popular that he went ahead and formed a label called vocal police entertainment in the same month.
Under vocal police, he released a hit single called Genda ewamwe a song that took him places that to the present day he still reaps from it.
In 2013 a year in which he released a single musayi, a collaboration Why ft Gravity, omuweesi and he never looked back but he went ahead to make his first concert. The concert took place on 14th September and it was held on the freedom city rooftop.
The second venue was at Jinja crane hotel. Still, he was nominated at the Buzz teen’s awards right after a successful concert. He won the award of best collaboration of the year at the first club music video held on the 20th of September 2013.
As the year 2013 came to an end, he released another single called rising star in which he spoke about his concerts. He has won the artiste of the year twice in 2013 and 2014 in the Eastern high school awards.
In 2014 January, Maro released another Lusoga love single titled Kyokoba that was also the title of the concert together with a collaboration that took Uganda by storm Mubbi bubbi ft David Lutalo. This combination was not expected plus the message in the song combined with the mellow voices of the two artists, no Ugandan survived to be swept off their feet.
This called for another mega-concert that was carried out on the 5th of September 2014 at Mackinnon suites Nakasero Kampala, the fee was 50,000shs and it was full.
After the main concert as usual the RNB kyabazinga continued to his home ground so, he did a concert at crested crane hotel gardens again and had a bigger crowd than he registered in 2013.
In 2015 he began finishing school as he graduated on 21st January awarded with a bachelor’s degree in development studies at Makerere University Kampala.
Later he released his first single and video called Emberazo, tackling and educating people to treat people the way they would want to be treated. The video received plays across borders Kenya Mseto East Africa show on citizens TV.

Relationship
Maro is in a relationship with a white girlfriend Mein from Germany and God has blessed them with one child. This makes Maro spend most of his time in Germany with his family.
Community works
He is a member of Viva con Agua an international NGO based in Germany concerned with providing clean water, promoting sanitation and proper hygiene.
Maro has worked with Uganda hands for hope Namuwongo, Uganda women cancer support organization, inter Aid on refugees and plan international with emphasis on the girl child.
