- First, you dial 176, then enter the desired number.
- In the next step, you’ll discover other voice selections available, such as the Voice of a Grandpa, a King, a Grandma, or a Cartoon Character. You can alter the mood of your conversation with Airtel’s Magic Voice background capabilities, which include traffic, romance, and airport ambience, among other detailed options.
- For it to work, you must wait until the recipient’s phone rings before answering. Then, you can go ahead and Initiate a conversation. On the other end, the receiver’s microphone will change your natural voice into the chosen character as you speak.
How much does Airtel charge for Magic Voice?
Subscribers of Magic Voice pay UGX 850 each week; at some point, you may need to deactivate Airtel Magic Voice on your handset. Send the word “UNSUB” or the word “Stop” to the number 176 to cancel your subscription to the service.
Can you use Magic Voice on Airtel Uganda today?
Unfortunately, Airtel Uganda discontinued the Magic Voice function. Additionally, they removed all related information from the Airtel Uganda website. When you visit their website, you can’t find any information regarding magic voice.
However, this function was previously available and a good percentage of Airtel customers subscribed to it.

It’s quite unfortunate that Airtel Uganda scrapped the magic voice feature among the services they offer because they’re customers that enjoyed it for entertainment purposes.
