With up to 50% discount, Black Friday sale at Shoprite will give you the best value for your money
Africa’s largest food retailer, Shoprite Supermarket has announced that it will hold Uganda’s biggest Black Friday of the year with a discount of up to 50% on almost all the commodities.
On the 29th of November this year, Shoprite which now operates in 15 countries, will organise a black Friday in all their branches across the country.
Black Friday is used to referring to a big shopping day, it is usually held on the last Friday of the month.
As a way of creating a strong bond with its customers, Shoprite normally organises one black Friday every single year where they extensively lower prices for most of their commodities for a single day.
This time round they have promised that this will be the biggest sales day of the year in the country as they will enable customers to quickly access all their favourite goods including a variety of food products, household goods and small appliances at the lowest possible prices.
With only 17 days to the long-awaited day, Shoprite as well promises a world-class shopping experience where customers will get commodities of their choice in one-stop including fresh bread or baked treats, in-house butchery or wine from 10 of the world’s best wine-producing countries.

In addition, Shoprite Black Friday deals will provide a chance to customers to save even more with a 50% cut off price for most of their favourite products, for those customers worried about shopping, the country’s biggest shopping day will have you covered.
Meanwhile, Shoprite indicates that they will communicate their exclusive Black Friday deals on their website on the 29th of this month, the actual shopping day and as a result, customers are called upon to be on the close watch for all the incredibly low price offers at the Shoprite store.
Besides the upcoming sales day, Shoprite as a big retail shop in the country exists to aims to meet customers’ needs through providing them with easy access to different goods and services at relatively different prices from buying airtime and tickets to paying bills and doing safe and convenient money transfers.
Shoprite has operated in Uganda since 2000 when it launched its first store in Uganda, It started with a high-end store in downtown Kampala on Ben Kiwanuka Street, before opening two others in Lugogo and Naalya.
Shoprite currently has five branches in the country with about 300 employees.
