It seems chaos will never stop at Uganda’s biggest and leading University Makerere University, during this year’s FACE OF MUK event that happened at Freedom square where hundreds of students gathered to choose one girl to represent the university.
Although the show started in a humble manner when the whole freedom square was branded with Africell banners (who were the official sponsors of this year’s event) turned out to be chaotic when different students mainly from Lumumba hall, Mitchell hall and University hall started fighting for the microphone to sing their respective anthems.
In the race was 11 beautiful Makerere University students from different halls of residence like Mary stuart, Complex hall, Africa hall and at the end of contests, 21 year old Aimy Keishura the other 10 contestant and emerged the winner.
Keishura Meldclara from Complex hall is a 21 year old social science student who also takes the position of a dancer , poet and lead singer at a Kikoni based UCF.
Guess what! after winning the ambassadorial role of Breast Cancer awareness, she is also set to travel across several countries preaching against breast cancer to the rest of world.
Among the performers of the night included Fic Fameika of the Byenyenya hit song and Roden Y Kabako of Nanfuka fame. FACE OF MUK is an annual event that happens at Makerere University where different girls showcase different designs and talents.
