how to private twitter account mobile

Twitter is a fantastic platform for connecting with people globally and sharing your opinions, but there are situations when you would want more anonymity. Only those who have been permitted to view your tweets can access a private Twitter account.

If you want to keep your tweets private or if you don’t want everyone to see your posts, this approach can be very useful.

You can set the privacy settings for your Twitter account, be it on desktop or mobile. Also, when you make your Twitter private, it will still be visible to your followers.

Here’s how to make your Twitter account private

Going private allows you to protect your tweets. After you switch to private, you’ll have to manually approve any new followers. Your tweets and photographs will only be accessible to approved followers.

You can quickly set your profile to private from your preferred browser if you’re using a laptop or desktop computer. Follow these simple steps to get started

  • Visit Twitter.com
  • Click on More (you’ll find it on the left-hand side).
  • Tap on Settings and Privacy in the pop-up box
  • Select Privacy and Safety, and then Audience and tagging
  • Select the checkbox for “Protect your tweets.”
  • Click on Protect to confirm

Just like that, your Twitter account is private! Now, people who don’t follow you can’t see your tweets, and you have to approve new followers.
