With the introduction of Chromecast with Google TV, Android TV finally received the largest UI overhaul in years after an excruciating wait. You’ve come to the perfect place if you can’t wait to get the official update for your older Android TV device.

You may learn how to set up Google TV on any Android TV device by following the simple steps in this article.

The transition of all Android TV devices to Google TV will take a couple of years. The home screen’s new appearance, which is intended to make things easier for users, is the largest update. To make it easier for people to find what they’re looking for, Google TV combines machine learning, Google Knowledge Graph, and Google Assistant.

Google TV is a layer of software that runs on top of the previous Android TV operating system, although it is not a standalone operating system.

You must be running Android 9.0 Pie or later to be eligible for Google TV, even though it will be accessible on the majority of Android TV devices.

Additionally, Google TV was first introduced in the US and currently works in several other countries. However, if it’s not available in your country, it can also be accessed through using VPNs such as ExpressVPN.
