Hon. Peter Sematimba, the Busiro South MP excels in his UACE exams after scoring 13 points as per UNEB release
As the majority of the students and their teachers celebrate for the success in their UACE results after UNEB announcement today, Thursday 27th February 2020, joined to them is the Busiro South Member of Parliament (MP) Peter Sematimba also the CEO Super FM who is overly excited about his performance.
From the recently released UNEB exams, Peter Sematimba managed to score 13points from a combination of LAD/ICT with a balanced distribution of principal passes with D-Literature, B-Art, D- Divinity (CRE) and subsidiary passes in both General paper C6, Computer Studies C4.
Last year, the honourable sat his UACE exams with other candidates and among which included the couple musicians and Directors of Da New Eagles Music Band Geoffrey Lutaaya and Irene Namatovu in Luweero District.
It’s alleged that the musicians are eyeing political positions in the upcoming 2012 elections but of course, their dreams would be shuttered minus them possessing the results of A’ Level certificates.
In 2016, the MP was kicked out of Parliament by High Court Judge Hon. Lady Justice Lydia Mugambe after a filed petition by Democratic Party’s Steven Sekigozi challenging the Busiro South MP Peter Ssematimba over lack of required academic documents.

According to Sekigozi before the high court revealed that Peter had a certificate which was issued by the East African Examination Council of 1978 and it was equivalent to the UACE minimum requirement for one to take part in parliamentary elections.
In response, Peter held that he was given a certificate by National Council for Higher Education which he represented to the Electoral Commission during nominations therefore with luck he was reinstated as Busiro South MP by Court of appeal.
Speaking to NBS UNCUT earlier this February, the celebrant Peter Sematimba held studying from the USA and only went back to sit for UACE because of the lawsuits from his political competitions.
“I defeated them in the last elections and so they used my academic documents as an excuse to take me before the court. I spent Shs350M for winning the case and so I decided to go back and get them the papers that they understand,” explained Peter Sematimba.
