Tugende Mu Kikadde, Uganda’s No.1 World Class Music Show is Back

Close to 3 years ago, Sprout Africa started organising the annual Tugende Mu Kikadde music show.  The music show was established to celebrate legendary artistes who dominated the music industry in Uganda in early 1970’s, 1980’s and in the 90s.

 This has seen talented ancient artistes like Afrigo Band, Fred Ssebata, Chance Nalubega, Mariam Ndagire, Kabuye Ssemboga,Halima Namakula and several others perform on this show.

According to Sprout Africa, the main organizers of Tugende Mu Kikadde, this annual event will return at its home Kampala Serena Hotel this May with new and exciting legends. The organizers also revealed that music lovers should expect a fully packed live band performance from Uganda’s best artists of who rocked in the 70’s, 80’s and 90’s.

The past two years history has been made, fashion has been redefined, top oldies stars resurrected; old rich songs re-performed on one the biggest music stages in Uganda and the music industry has regained its strength and worth during the annual Tugende Mu Kikadde vintage show that happens at Serena Hotel.

Tugende Mu Kikadde 3rd edition is expected to take place on Saturday 4th May 2019 at Kampala Serena Hotel in a night filled with classic music and oldies hit songs featuring top veteran singers.
