Just two days to the long awaited and one of the most attended and celebrated band music events in the country, Ugandans have come out and expressed their excitement over Tugende Mu Kikadde a music show that happens every year at Serena Hotel Kampala that brings back and celebrate band music and artistes who became popular for their songs in the 70s, 80s, 90s and early 2000s.
Tugende Mu kikadde first happened last year in May at Serena Hotel which left party people mesmerized by the performances from extra talented artistes like Kabuye Ssemboga, Afrigo Band, Halima Namakula, Mariam Ndagire, and Eddy Yawe among several others.
Several people most especially those in Kampala, have showed their excitement and have confirmed their attendance with their friends and families with an hash tag trending on social media #TugendeMuKikadde2 both on twitter and facebook and all Uganda online news. Follow the conversation today.
According to Sprout Africa, the organizers and sponsors of this vintage show, they came out recently and declared that this show will happen every year with different veteran singers. During the press conference that was held on Monday at Serena Hotel, they went ahead and assured their fans in Uganda news that singers Sam and Sophie Gombya, Chance Nalubega, Lord Fred Ssebata, Afrigo Band among others will be performing at that memorable night.
The dressing, slaying, organization, and the kind of music that will be played will all be old skool and vintage. Come be part of the of the biggest old skool music event in Uganda.
Tickets are already being sold at Serena Hotel Kampala and all nearby Total Petrol stations in town.
Tugende Mu kikadde will happen on 5th May 2018 at Kampala Serena Hotel starting 7:00 pm and entrance will go for 100,000 VIP and 3,000,000 VVIP. Be there.
