DR Congo takes on Uganda in the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations at 17:30 hours in Cairo International Stadium today.
This is the second match of Group A and either side will be looking to get maximum points to tie up with the hosts Egypt who defeated Zimbabwe 1-0 in the first group match encounter.
It will be an enthralling match as both sides are famously known for their huge struggle in attacking but with a solid defense.
This is what you need to know ahead of this encounter
Uganda has no title and will be heading into this match as probable underdogs.
However, their most recent friendly match against 2015 AFCON champions, Ivory Coast proved that they can surprise their opponents.
Cranes got their winning goal in the 35th minute and managed to defend it till the end of the match.
Uganda will be looking to carry on with their enviable record of four victories, one draw and a loss for all their Afcon group qualification games.
DR Congo will be heading into this match with their heads held high as they brag of lifting the AFCON trophy twice both in 1968 and 1974 in Ethiopia and Egypt respectively.
The two-time champions are heading into their 19th appearance in this tournament with their recent being in 2017 where they reached the quarter-finals.
In their last six international matches, the Leopards have had a frankly poor run as they have won twice, drawn twice and lost twice, with winning only once in their last three of the six recent matches.
Congolese are also unbeaten in their last nine group games at the Afcon but seven of those are ending in a draw.
Meanwhile, Uganda has defeated DR Congo twice in their last three encounters with a 1-0 win in 2004, 1-0 in 2011 with the latter beating the former 4-0 in 2005.
