Jumia Food, an online food platform has announced special Iftar meals during the holy month of Ramadan for Muslim consumers.
Jumia Food has announced that it will be serving special Iftar meals to Muslim consumers during the holy month of Ramadan.
Throughout this period of fasting, consumers can expect to enjoy a wide range of offers & discounts from different restaurants on the online platform.
“ We have curated special offers for our consumers that can be enjoyed by everyone from a person living alone to a whole family with over 15 restaurants to pick from. It is important that we offer our consumers delicious and cost friendly meals during this special time.” Tom Mugabe, Jumia Food Commercial Lead said.
Some of the offers consumers can get to enjoy during this Ramadan period include a 50% off combo meal from Furaha that includes dates, a beverage, Katogo, chicken pilau, Goat pilau, Chicken fried rice, Veg salad all at just 20,000 UGX.
There are also combo meals from Kuku Box, Pilau connection, Cafe Amico and more all for less than 30,000 UGX.
For all these offers, consumers will also be enjoying a delivery fee of 2,000 UGX for all locations in Kampala on the Jumia Food app.
Consumers also have the option to pre-order their meals and schedule for delivery at a time of their choosing. Keeping with safety measures consumers will be able to opt for the ‘contactless safe delivery’ option that has been implemented through Mobile Money or card payments.
This enables consumers to make prepaid payments for their orders and get them delivered without direct body contact or cash exchange with the delivery agent.
