AFCON Prize Money : Find out how much do teams get – Algeria, Senegal, Tunisia and Nigeria?

With two days left to conclude the 32nd edition of 2019 Total Africa Cup of Nations tournament, the race for the big AFCON Prize Money is still on the cards.

Algeria, Senegal, Tunisia and Nigeria are all in contention for these top four finishing places – Senegal will face Algeria in the tournament’s final on Friday 19th July in a battle for the first and second place.

Appropriately Tunisia will go head to head with Nigeria today in a battle for the third and fourth-place finish respectively.

For this year’s 24 team campaign, CAF increased the Prize Money to $16.4 million to be shared respectively among all teams.

The winner of this year’s Afcon will scoop US$4.5 million as the runner up will walk home with US$2.5 million.

Meanwhile, this is the first time the tournament has been played during Europe’s summer after the Confederation of African.
