President Museveni directs all newly appointed ministers to fight corruption

President Museveni has issued a strong warning to all public servants (ministers) against engaging in bad vices like corruption following their swearing-in yesterday at the Entebbe State House.

Museveni who also cautioned new ministers to desist from any form of bad governance told advised the ministers to serve in their positions with full honesty, dignity and faithfulness.

He, however, called on all the youthful and fresh appointees to the cabinet to learn from their colleagues who have stayed long enough serving in particular ministries.

“NRM as a party is very strong and so all NRM leaders need to understand it’s vision and ideology, which is standing with the population from unfair taxation, levying of fees in UPE and USE and other government initiative programmes,” Museveni added.

“In exercise of the powers vested in the President by Articles 99(1), 108(2), 108A(1), 113(1) and 114(1) of the 1995 Constitution of the Republic of Uganda, President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni has, in pursuance of the goals of the NRM and Ugandans in general, made minor changes to t
