Suuna Ben has been granted a lifetime opportunity after being included in the Fireboy live concert slated for this Saturday, April 30th, at the Lugogo Cricket Oval in Kampala.
Renowned DJ and Media Personality Suuna Ben has been granted a lifetime opportunity after he was added to the list of entertainers for the Fireboy live concert in Kampala slated to take place this Saturday, April 30th at the Lugogo Cricket Oval.
Suuna Ben, also a journalist with Bukedde TV and radio will be expected to rub shoulders with the “Peru” singer this Saturday at the Guinness sponsored event at Lugogo Cricket Oval alongside other Ugandan musicians including Sheebah Karungi and Navio.
“I’m calling upon all my fans to come and see #SuunaBen in another version,’’ Suuna Ben said while making his stand at the FireboyLiveinKLA presser on Friday.
With his biggest fan base in Masaka, Suuna has over the years garnered a lot of interest in the country’s social circles with his style of mixing songs at a faster BPM (Beats Per Minute) that he calls ‘Ebiyanyayanya’.
Meanwhile, event organizer Malembe said they reached out to Suuna and a deal was agreed between both parties before they made it official with a poster. ‘’His undoubted engagement with revellers has always been appealing and so we thought he was the right person,’’ Keith Ashaba from the Malembe team noted.
He added; “Music is a universal language that can and should be enjoyed by everyone and Sunna Ben gives that to his fans, so he is more than welcome, to take part in the show come Saturday.’’
This meanwhile comes at a time when the Nigerian RnB star Adedamola Adefolahan aka Fireboy is already in the country ahead of his big concert tomorrow.
Speaking at a presser on Friday morning, the ‘Peru’ hitmaker said this will be a chance for him to replicate the love that Ugandans have showered him from the time he started his music career.
He also said he is happy to be in the Pearl of Africa and more than ready to give his Ugandan fans a show of a lifetime.
“ I am so happy to finally be able to come here it has been a dream of mine to perform for my fans in Uganda. I cannot wait,” Fireboy said at a presser adding that he will be proud to hold his first show in Uganda.
