President Museveni’s first Son Lt. Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba Sends Strong Warning to Bobi Wine and the Opposition ‘’Stop Messing with us’’

The first son and Presidential Advisor for Special Operations Lt. Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba have warned whoever plans to mess with Uganda that they will have a bad day.

Through his social media page, Gen Muhoozi posted a message indicating that they ready to deal with any Ugandan intending to destabilize the country’s peace.

“I can assure whoever even thinks of messing with Uganda will get a very bad day. Long live UPDF! Long live Ugandan Special Forces!,” Muhoozi tweeted on Monday 14th morning.

The tweet was also attached with photos of the Uganda People’s Defence Force (UPDF) officers in the bush showcasing what they can do best.

This is not the first time Gen. Muhoozi has used his social media platform to pass on warnings of this kind with the most recent one being his day independence tweet.

“Ugandan strong! I never used to believe it but Almighty God has made me a believer. Nobody can defeat Uganda! This is God’s country. Whoever dares will be crushed to dust! Happy Independence Day! God bless Uganda,” Muhoozi posted on Twitter on the country’s 57th Independence Day.

Who is Muhoozi Kainerugaba? 

Born on April 24, 1974, in Dar Salaam Tanzania, Muhoozi is the firstborn of President Yoweri Museveni and the first lady and also Minister of Education and Sports, Janet Museveni.

Muhoozi is a Lieutenant General in the Uganda People’s Defence Force (UPDF) a position he was decorated with by President Museveni in February this year after he was elevated from his previous rank of Major General.

The 45-year-old has been an active soldier since 1990, previously, Muhoozi was also a commander of Special Forces which is responsible for providing security to the President.

For his education, Muhoozi went to Kampala Parents School, Kings College Buddo and St. Mary’s College Kisubi before he was admitted to Egyptian Military Academy where he took both the company and battalion commander courses.

He also attended the Kalama Armoured Warfare Training School in Kabamba in Mubende district.

In 2000, just after he had returned from the UK where he had been studying in a military academy, he was assigned to the Presidential Protection Unit as a second Lieutenant.

In 2007, he was admitted to a one year course at the United States Army Command and General Staff College at Fort Leavenworth, Kansas and graduated in June the following year.

Meanwhile, Muhoozi is married to Charlotte Kainerugaba and the two have three children.
