National Resistance Movement party Chairman Yoweri Museveni has urged all people to vote for Herbert Ariko in the upcoming Soroti By-Election for effective service delivery.

President Yoweri Museveni and also the National Resistance Movement (NRM) party Chairman has called on all people to vote for Herbert Ariko in the upcoming Soroti By-Election for effective service delivery.

Museveni who spent the evening of Monday at St. Kizito Technical Institute playground in Madera Ward, Soroti East constituency in Soroti negotiating for votes challenged the masses to vote for the NRM candidate to be in a position to see even more developments being extended to the district.

He said the purpose of politics is not to choose leaders but to get people to ask themselves which party can help them solve their problems.

“Politics is about you, not about leaders. What we NRM have been telling you for many years is that we want wealth for all homes. That is why we have brought the Parish Development Model.”

“Politics is about a party that can and will always be with the people solving their problems including security. The NRM is the only tested party that can implement that task and Herbert Ariko is the candidate to drive our agenda,” Museveni said.

As a result, he called on the masses to come out in big numbers and vote for Ariko to enable quick service delivery.

“I call upon the people of Soroti City East to vote for Herbert Ariko for effective service delivery through proper coordination with the NRM structures and programs. I bless him.”
