Swangz Avenue has established its name in the film and video production sector around the great East Africa region.

Thanks to the amazing job by Marvin Musoke and the entire video production team. Such strides cannot go unnoticed.

Swangz Avenue’s strides have attracted lucrative partnerships both in the past and currently.

Recently, Swangz Avenue announced its partnership with MTN Uganda. This is such a great deal not only for Swangz Avenue but also for the art industry in the country. The association has enabled Swangz Avenue to bring to life creative ideas.

In collaboration with MTN, the artwork is focused on great campaigns in the country and around the region. There is more to the partnership other than the social impact that the campaigns have on the country and the entire region.

The partnership is a massive business deal for Swangz Avenue, thanks to its high-quality services and level of professionalism.

Controversies and Updates

Swangz Avenue has, for the past few years, attracted some of the best talents in Uganda’s music and entertainment scene. Some of the great names have been mentioned above.

However, there has been fallout with some of the artists that were signed under the label. One good example is Irene Ntale.

Irene Ntale quite the record label after a successful stint of four years. She is one of the most talked-about former Swangz Avenue signees.

The fuss around her departure is largely attributed to her great talent and the impact that her departure had on the label.

Irene Ntale is by far not the only notable musician who has left the label since it was founded.

Another great example is Zulanda, whose real names are Julius James Baker Ssembuusi. His departure was also marked with a lot of speculation. There are several speculations out there about why he left the music label company.

In one of his interviews, he stated that he left the record label because he wanted to focus on and build his solo career.

There is also the inspiring story of Tha iCon. Tha iCon is a UK-based Ugandan artiste known for his surprising decision to leave the British military to pursue a career in music. During the early stints of his career, he signed a deal with Swangz Avenue.

However, he later left for several reasons. He is currently working with another record label and continues to grace his fans with great hits.

These are just a few artists who have left Swangz Avenue since its establishment back in 2008. However, the record label has continued to give opportunities to new upcoming artists in the industry.

Zafaran is one of their latest signees with a great future ahead. The record label continues to grow even with the challenges they have faced over the past few years.
